DG Supplyline Ltd

DG Supplyline specialise in supplying hardware to double glazing repairers, locksmiths and other similar maintenance companies. So they needed a website to tailor for a mixture of B2B for trade and B2C for consumer products.

We designed the website from the bottom up, including a complete redesign, an upgrade to our latest e-commerce platform, migrating their existing database of records, integration of a wordpress blog and social platforms to the homepage.

We also added an e-brochure so customers can view the component specifications in a more detailed manner whilst still on the website.

Moving forward Silkstream will also be assisting DG Supplyline with their online marketing campaign.

Connections at Home

Connections at Home are a leading contemporary furniture and lighting company. Based in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex where they have a large showroom displaying hundreds of products. They are also a well established online distributor supplying the latest in contemporary designer furniture, lighting and other housewares. Connections at Home furniture and home accessories have appeared on many designer television programmes and are exported throughout the world.

They approached Silkstream to design and build a new website to replace an existing and outdated one. The key goals being to increase revenue by presenting the products in an easy to navigate environment and applying upselling and cross-selling facilities to increase the average order value and improve the customers browsing experience.

Moving forward Silkstream will also be assisting Connections at Home with their online marketing.


BuySend are one of the largest eBay retailers in the UK, serving over 100,000 customers and reaching “Titanium Powerseller” status.

They have a growing inventory of products and were looking for a way to move their business forward outside of eBay and gain more product exposure, so they approached Silkstream to design a new e-commerce website.

We’ve added calls to action on the product pages such as “Hurry…only 1 left!” and a countdown timer for express delivery. Each page also displays trust signals such as “What our customers say…” and “Why buy from us?” as well as the standard product and shipping information.

Silkstream also designed the user experience (UX) for their back office management information system (MIS). We also designed the mobile site interface.
