We&#8217;ve also experienced a <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">95.83% increase in users<\/span><\/strong>. This\u00a0means that we&#8217;re getting seen in front of more people and gaining visibility within the industry!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And we are still steadily growing&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We&#8217;re still #1 for <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">web design southend<\/span><\/strong> and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>seo southend<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"SEO Southend, Essex\" src=\"https:\/\/www.silkstream.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/seo-southend-essex1.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And in 2014, we made it to the first page of Google for <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>web design essex<\/strong><\/span>, a highly competitive search query. (Did you know that there are 609 companies registered in Yell offering web design in Essex?)<\/p>\n<h2>Top 5 Blog Posts of 2014<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our <a title=\"Blog\" href=\"https:\/\/www.silkstream.net\/blog\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a> has seen a huge change in traffic in 2014 from 2013:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>209.06% increase<\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"> in Pageviews<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>175.3% increase in Unique Pageviews<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>13.14% increase in Avg. Time on Page<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>10.91% decrease in Bounce Rate<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>7.31% decrease in Exit Rate<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2014, we published a staggering\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>80 blog posts\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>on the Silkstream blog, in comparison to the 29 blog posts of 2013. Our attention to writing even more quality content for the Silkstream blog last year resulted in an increase in blog traffic from organic search, as we expanded our search visibility through a wider variety of search queries. In addition to this, our quality blog posts have naturally earned backlinks from numerous external websites (including a couple of the biggest names in the industry), further increasing Silkstream&#8217;s web authority. We recognise that the online marketing industry has been favouring social media marketing for a while now and, though we have played an active part in helping our clients to develop their own social media presence, Silkstream&#8217;s own social media has honestly been neglected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>So our New Year&#8217;s Resolution for 2015 is to put more focus on our Social Media, as well as our <a title=\"Local SEO in Essex\" href=\"https:\/\/www.silkstream.net\/blog\/2014\/08\/local-seo-essex.html\">Local SEO<\/a>.
