Skandia is one of the world’s leading providers of quality long-term investment and saving solutions. The core of the business is based in Europe with our largest markets in the United Kingdom and Sweden, and  also active in selected growth markets in Asia and Latin America.

Silkstream were asked to build a online business solution to capture and analyse Skania's call centre quality of service. The system was so successful that it was rolled-out to numerous operations across Europe.

Sovereign required a database system that manages their online sales and customer database. We built a custom CMS to include customer relationship management features, merging email, telephone and order history to form profiles that can predict buying trends, generate alerts to purchasing departments and accordingly send targeted email offers.

As with many systems that are integrated with websites, we are continually providing increasing features to enhance Sovereign's business processes.
 

We integrated our standard CMS for Wheelandtyre enabling them to update their website content with the ease and flexibility they required.

Since their website’s phenomenal growth (we designed and developed this earlier in the year) we have added further functions such as CRM and email marketing.
 

We first built our translation management system (TMS) in 2003. Since then there has been a steady increase in requests to customise the system for individual businesses.

In a nutshell the system assists translation companies when managing their orders, organising their translators' work schedules and generating invoices.

 

Printech came to us when they were seeking to implement a management information system (MIS) to replace their manual paper-based system.

We built a custom database to manage Printech's enquiries, estimates, customer-relationship, shipping and production schedule. The project is on-going, allowing the database to grow with the business.

Arabian Aerospace required an website content management system in order to update their website on a frequest basis. The CMS provides multiple user levels such as publishers and editors which enables the AA team to post and shedule articles whereever they are in the world. 

The CMS also streams podcasts and manages AA's banner advertising department. The database system has been a huge success and enabled AA to extend their readership across 3 continents.

Silkstream built a bespoke database system to manage FMS's estimating, buying and sales processes. The system manages everything from new prospects, credit approvals, product catalogue, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, correspondence, diary / calendar, faxes and emails.

The database system has the flexibility, as with all Silkstream systems, to grow with the businesses demands.
 

Deadline despatch are a courier and logistics company. We built their bespoke database system to manage their daily bookings, schedule their driver's most efficient routes and generate client invoices.

The database has been an integral part of Deadline's business process.

Direct Display is one of the UK’s Leading point of sale manufacturers and international distributors. Their product range extends from simple ‘off the shelf’ items to custom made products.

Direct Display asked us to build them a custom stock control database system which they could use between branches. Our solution was a web-based database system which synchronised stock levels between various warehouses.
 

Commissioned by the Essex, Southend and Thurrock Social Care Workforce Development Strategy Group (ESTSCWDSG). Which is a multi-agency group including local authority, NHS, Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), Skills for Care, Independent and Voluntary Sector representatives.
